PRIVACY · UPDATED AUGUST 22, 2026
Privacy, without the fine-print fog.
What we process
When you submit a public URL, RoastPage sends a rendered screenshot of that page to OpenAI to generate the requested analysis. The URL and generated result may be held temporarily in memory to prevent duplicate processing and control abuse.
Anonymous usage measurement
We record basic product events—page views and whether an analysis starts, completes or fails—plus the referring website host. To estimate unique daily visitors without storing raw IP addresses, the service converts limited request data into a one-way rotating identifier.
What we do not want
Do not submit private, password-protected, personal, confidential or unlawful material. RoastPage is designed only for publicly accessible marketing pages.
Third-party services
We use OpenAI for visual analysis, Thum.io for public-page screenshots and our hosting provider to deliver the service. Their own privacy terms apply to information they process.
Retention and accounts
This version does not require an account and does not intentionally build a named profile of visitors. Basic operational logs may be retained by infrastructure providers for security and reliability.
Your choices
If you do not want a page processed, do not submit its URL. We may update this notice as saved reports, payments or accounts are added.
